Members of the Companies Auditors and Liquidators Disciplinary Board

The Companies Auditors and Liquidators Disciplinary Board is appointed by the Federal Treasurer and consists of:
  • A Chairman; and
  • A Deputy Chairman; and
  • 3 Members selected by the Minister from a panel of 7 persons nominated by the Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia; and
  • 3 Members selected by the Minister from a panel of 7 persons nominated by the Board of Directors of CPA Australia; and
  • 6 Members selected by the Minister having been satisfied that they are suitable persons for appointment as representatives of the business community.
The members of the CALDB are selected from throughout Australia and must be resident in Australia.

The Chairman and the Deputy Chairman are required by law to be enrolled as a barrister or solicitor.
